Making a difference in people's lives, Kimball officially sponsors or contributes to numerous causes. The Company has also donated valuable products and resources to fundraisers and auctions, and encourages employees to participate and contribute their own time, talent or treasure to causes of their choice. We are proud to highlight a few examples.

Kimball Hospitality Donations
Kimball Hospitality makes annual donations to Camp Pacific Heartland for children and adolescents with HIV/AIDS and the Wilson Foundation, providing education, health services and personal enrichment for disadvantaged children.

Kimball Hospitality & Ronald McDonald’s House
Kimball Hospitality was honored with a brass plaque installed by the Board members of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of The Ohio Valley, in recognition of the bedroom furnishings that Kimball supplied for 10 family guest rooms in the Ronald McDonald House of Evansville (IN). Kimball Logistics donated the freight costs of truck and driver to deliver the furnishings.

Kimball Office Donations
Kimball Office donated $10,000 to The Chicago Lighthouse, an agency dedicated to the blind and visually impaired, and hosted a New York event raising $20,000 for Yankees' star Derek Jeters' Turn 2 Foundation, whose programs support and motivate young people to turn away from drugs and alcohol and "TURN 2" healthy lifestyles.

Kimball Hospitality & Jill's House
Kimball Hospitality provided furnishings for 26 guest rooms of "Jill's House", a low-cost, no-cost residential styled guest facility for patients and their families during prolonged treatment at the Midwest Proton Radiotherapy Institute in Bloomington, Indiana.

National’s Gifts of Inspiration – Benefitting Education and Healthcare
The current economy presents many challenges throughout the education industry, so National announced this program to do its part to assist learning organizations with an opportunity to win a $10,000 “Gift of Inspiration”. Since 2009, when the program was started, National has awarded a total of seven “Gifts”, totaling $160,000, with four awards for Education environments and three benefitting Healthcare organizations. This donation can support scholarship funds, endowments, technology, facility enhancements, or other important educational and developmental programs. 

Kimball Hospitality Supports IMPACT Foundation
Kimball Hospitality teamed up with the Indianapolis Colts' Defensive Captain Gary Brackett, hosting a public furniture sale that raised over $11,000 to benefit Brackett's IMPACT Foundation for children fighting pediatric cancer. Kimball continues to support the NFL star, serving on Brackett's advisory board and participating in various other fundraisers.

National Gives to Build Homes
National Office Furniture donated nine trailers of new office furniture to Habitat for Humanity, to be resold, raising $40,000 in funds for several new home projects within the southwestern Indiana region.

Backpacks of Hope
Kimball Electronics-Tampa recently participated in a back-to-school supplies drive, called "Backpacks of Hope," for a local charity. Thanks to the efforts of employees, enough items were collected to fill up 16 fully stocked backpacks, with additional quantities of supplies to distribute to needy kids in the Tampa Bay area.
